Dedicated to preserving Pensacola’s history through displays of artifacts and memorabilia, the museum features permanent exhibits dealing with subjects such as Native Americans, the Civil War, and military and maritime history. The museum’s first floor features changing exhibitions, which have included displays of Pensacola commemorative glass and a presentation about slaves at Fort Pickens. It lies just south of downtown Pensacola.
