Craw Dog Review

Posted by jerrycajun on 7/8/2009

http://www.boorah.com/restaurants/FL/pensacola/jerrys-cajun-cafe--catering/F7D75B7D84.html Just wanted to let you know, that the Craw Dog was a test item for Jerry's, as I first tasted this unique dog at the original Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge, La. many years ago. I wanted to bring something simple, but good! And now you know the rest of the story! Don't look for it next year, as I said above, this was a test. For more accurate reviews of items on our regular menu, check out the link above. Thanks for the input. And as I tell my customers, "I can't fix it if I don't know it's broken". AaaaaEeeee! Jerry's Cajun- "Crawdog" - ugg

Posted by mhar012003 on 5/5/2009

Jerry's Cajun had a food booth setup at the "Crawfish Fest" during the weekend of May 3,2009. Jerry had been on TV pumping up the upcoming fest. He was right, the fest was good..but the "Crawdog" featured food item that he pumped on TV as a major must have item from his restaurant really sucked. He advertised it as a hotdog bun with crayfish. It is actually a hotdog bun with 1/4 lb beef wiener with a little crayfish etouffee sauce on it...a major disappointment I must say. It had little if any crayfish in the sauce and the flavor in the wiener was overwhelming and any flavor of crayfish was lost. So save your $5 and find some real "Crawfish" forget Jerry's
