Recently my wife and I visited Lillian's for the first time. We discovered that their menu is very misleading. The specialty pizze on the left side of their menu are not priced. When I asked the price of their Margherita pizza, the waitress directed me to the prices of the various sizes of pizze on the right side of the menu which included up to 5 toppings. I told her I did not want five toppings, I wanted a Margherita pizza which is the basic pizza in Italy which consists of tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and oregano. She replied, Sir, you have to pay for the various sizes on the right to have a Margherita pizza. I then asked her if tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and oregano were toppings?...She could not answer my question. My wife and I got up and left. Lillian's is a rip off...they charge far too much for a simple pizza. Their pricing for specialty pizze is a gimmick. Their menu is very deceiving and they rip off customers this way. A note for for those who read this review: "pizze" is plural in Italian for more than one pizza. My wife and I lived recently in Sicilia for 6 years and we know our "Pizze"! To be perfectly up front with their patrons, Lillian's should individually price their specialty pizze at more reasonable prices. If they do so, then my wife and I may consider patronizing them...until then, Arrivederci!
